SKIN CARE - Tips and Advice
Make-up starts with great looking skin - remember; make-up only looks as good as the quality of the skin underneath!! Book your FREE skin care consultation class with me ASAP (before a make-up trial) so that you can try the appropriate skin care products for your skin type (and colouring) and develop a skin care regime that will ensure your skin is in the best possible condition ready for your wedding day . . . . . and beyond. I am quite happy to visit you at home, either on your own or you may include members of your bridal party, friends or family so that they can also benefit. Its a fun, interesting and informative class. At the end of your skincare class, we can discuss the look you wish to obtain for your Wedding Day and book a day for your make-up trial. Don't forget your bridesmaids and the mums can have a trial too!!

Make Up Trial - Tips and Advice 1. If possible, have either a swatch of material or a good picture of the bride and bridesmaids' dresses so that a true colour can be seen, as well as the style. Also a picture or colour scheme of your flowers. This all helps to create the overall look and feel of your wedding (especially if there is a theme) so that we can incorporate this with the make-up.
2. Be vocal - Don't be shy about what you want. Maybe collect cuttings from magazines showing a look that you might want to try.
 3. Be honest - Let me know your likes and dislikes. I will be able to offer advice, ideas and alternatives to suit your look.
 4. Be alert - Let me know in advance about any skin allergies so precautions can be taken.
5. Enjoy being pampered! This is a great opportunity for you to learn about what type of make-up and skin care work for you.
6. Allow 15-20 mins consultation then 1hr+ for your own make-up trial and 30-45 minutes for each member of your wedding party who will also be having a trial.

The Build Up to your Wedding Day - Tips and Advice
Whether you are using my services or not, here's a list of things to bear in mind and others to avoid in the build up to the wedding day: 1) Avoid substances that could give you oily skin, swelling and irritation. These include red meat, alcohol, caffeine, spicy or deep fried foods. 2) Remember to drink lots of water to keep hydrated and flush out toxins. 3) Avoid using Retin A and Alpha Hydroxy creams prior to the wedding day. They may cause skin peeling, flaking and irritation that will show up in your photographs. 4) Exfoliate your skin two days before your wedding. 5) Have your brows professionally shaped at least two days prior to the wedding day. Nice brows are very important because they frame the face. 6)Refresh your hair colour a week before the wedding. Get rid of dark roots and split ends. 7) Remove all traces of make-up the night before your wedding. Avoid dry lips and scaly looking lipstick by exfoliating your lips and putting a lip balm on your lips before bed and the morning of your wedding (I have the ideal product for this!!). Your face should be clean and product free when the make-up artist arrives. 8) If you're not hiring a make-up artist for the whole wedding day make sure you have a lipstick, lip-liner and blotting sheets with you to touch up when needed.

On Your Wedding Day - Tips and Advice HURRAH ..........It's here at last !! I will arrive at your preferred location and take care of all your bridal party's make-up needs. Just relax and take a deep breath, you're in good hands! Ensure you are wearing either a loose/ baggy top or one with buttons so you don't mess up your hair or make-up when getting changed into your wedding dress. There's no extra charge for Sunday weddings or early starts and a tiny amount of make-up for flower girls is complimentary. On the day, the remaining balance (total costminus the deposit) must be paid in full, by either cash or cheque.
